When it comes to makeup, doing your eyebrows seems like a situation that will either make or break your entire look. Who knew that we would ever focus so much on the two patches of hair above our eyes. When I think of a brand that released an iconic eyebrow product, Anastasia Beverly Hills immediately pops into my head. Anastasia Beverly Hills has managed to become a household name and an overall favorite to many makeup junkies out there with their famous Dipbrow product. An eyebrow cream that is used to slick and snatch your eyebrows into place, giving them a neat and full look. Sold at the brand’s official website, Sephora and Ulta Beauty, the product has a rating of 4.5 stars or higher and tons of praise on social media.
Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow is ideally the product you want to achieve those “fleeky” Insta-brows. Insta-brows is term coined for those perfect eyebrows that you see on the makeup artistry community on Instagram. The official Instagram account for ABH has a whopping 17.3 million followers at the moment, showcasing many MUAs who rock extraordinary looks using their products, including eyebrow tutorials using the Dipbrow. Even A-list celebrities have took notice and helped themselves to gorgeous eyebrows by Anastasia.
Though, something as magical as Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Dipbrow product, of course comes with a price. The eyebrow pomade can be bought for $18, which seems insane for anyone who is on a beauty budget. Unfortunately in the makeup world, seeing a price like that would make you think that you will never get a product that has the same or similar quality in a drugstore. At least you thought you never will…
Once again makeup dupes are here to rescue you and your wallet. Believe it or not, there are similar products that may be able to achieve those fierce brows that you’ve been wanting without going out of your budget. That is the absolute beauty of makeup dupes. But I think when it comes to dupes, everyone is asking the same question. Are their eyebrow pomade products out there than can actually be considered ‘dupes’ of the holy grail that is Anastasia Beverly Hills’ eyebrow pomade? Here are the five winners that just may have came and conquered as dupes!
NYX Tame & Frame Eyebrow Pomade ($7-$8)
NYX Cosmetics’ smudge-proof and waterproof pomade comes in a slightly different pot and sells three fewer shades, but the same cream consistency as Anastasia Beverly Hills’. The Take & Frame pomade comes in five shades from blonde to black. This tinted brow pomade is sold for $7-$8 and can give you a subtle yet gorgeous eyebrow look for less.
e.l.f. Lock on Liner and Brow Cream ($4 & A TOTAL WINNER IN MY EYES)
My personal favorite and the #1 dupe of ABH’s Dipbrow pomade. This e.l.f. product is a combination of an eyeliner and eyebrow cream and works perfectly as both. I have been using this Lock on Liner & Brow cream for a year now and I am super satisfied with how sculpted and in-place my eyebrows look. Not only is this the best dupe on the list but it is the CHEAPEST. If you don’t know about this product then please get to know it!
Milani Stay Put Brow Color ($6-$8)
Milani’s Stay Put Brow color is another similar brow pot that runs from $6-$8 (depending on what drugstore you’re at and if you get lucky). It comes with two-sided tool that has a spoolie on one end and a curved eyebrow brush at the other end, which is totally perfect because you’re getting a two-in-one deal, and you don’t have to bother buying seperate tools if you don’t have them already.
Black Radiance Perfecting Brow Pomade ($5)
Another two-in-one deal with Black Radiance! The container is definitely different (on account of the screw off brush) from Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Dipbrow, and more unique and aesthetically pleasing might I add, but Black Radiance Perfecting Brow Pomade is yet another affordable brow pomade that will do a similar job as the Dipbrow when sculpting your eyebrows and keeping your hairs in place.
L.A. Girl Brow Pomade ($8)
We all know L.A. Girl for their amazing and very affordable concealers, but their brow pomade is another product of theirs that you should take notice of. Like other brow pomades, L.A. Girl describes theirs as a “Creamy pomade glides on smoothly and locks into place. Water-resistant formula lasts throughout the day without fading or smudging.” You can buy this one for $8 and choose from six shades.
